I was never really a fundamentalist; I accepted the evidence for things like evolution, but nonetheless believed God was real and maybe even directing it all, or maybe just trying things and watching to see what happens, and I believed my salvation depended on Christ, but I believed the Bible to be the inaccurate work of men -- I was exactly the person John Dietrich was addressing in the linked text that I just read now, but I made my choice years ago.

I don't have much experience with Unitarianism; I've always assumed it was for people who believed God was real but Zeus was the same thing, that when Buddha spoke of nirvana he was talking about the same thing as heaven, etc. Now that I've read some of your sermons I'm wondering if I should find out more about it. You seem to be practicing the religion Alain de Botton wants to create with Atheism 2.0. As far as I can tell the only difference between your take on religion and his is that he considers himself an atheist and you do not describe yourself that way, but that seems to be just a semantic difference. Maybe you would disagree.Eric Lhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17688525347746547529noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13399254.post-41390587081080251782014-11-23T19:22:04.067-05:002014-11-23T19:22:04.067-05:00Hello Mr. Muder, I am fascinated by your writings ...Hello Mr. Muder, I am fascinated by your writings and wanted to share a link with you but I couldn't find a "contact us" link for you so I'm using your comments option. If you have time, I would like your opinion on the content of this piece. I know that's a big if, since most people have no time, but I think this is another interesting discourse.
http://www.ascendedmasteranswers.com/spiritual-realm/progressive-revelation/84-when-spiritual-teachings-disagree-about-factual-information
Thank you!
Mary
marymontano@swcp.comMary Montanohttp://www.newchristianitynow.comnoreply@blogger.com
